RAUWOLFIA
Rauwolfia naturally contains a potent alkaloid compound that quickly activates the central nervous system to support normal blood vessel resistance. Its supporting actions on blood vessel relaxation and coronary flow can help optimize cardiovascular function. The resulting clinical benefits explain why.
Unlike other rauwolfia products, HTN Px does not require toxic solvents such as chlorohexane, phthalates, and toluene to concentrate the alkaloid content. Instead, the plant is harvested when it is at peak potency, avoiding the need for extraction to concentrate the levels. Restorative Formulations uses HPLC MS, an expensive but highly accurate testing method, on both raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency in the levels of this alkaloid from batch to batch.
We source Hawthorn leaf and flowers from the South of France because they have the highest levels of naturally occurring vitexin when harvested at just the right time. As a result, we can use the whole herb (leaf and flower), without needing solvents to extract vitexin.
In addition, these clean, pure formulas are free from magnesium stearate, binders, and artificial colors or flavors. We package exclusively in amber glass bottles, not plastic. We manufacture all products in North America with ecologically sourced herbs, from the US whenever possible, harvested at peak potency to avoid solvents.
