A. Nutrivitamin Enzyme Complex™ contains 10,000 IU of vitamin A from natural beta-carotene with mixed carotenoids and retinyl palmitate sources per each three capsule serving. The recommendations are to “take 2 to 3 capsules 2 times daily”, which computes to a total vitamin A intake of 13,333 – 20,000 IU per day. Seventy-five percent (or 7,500 IU per serving) of the vitamin A is sourced from beta carotene. Retinyl palmitate, a preformed vitamin A source, accounts for the remaining twenty-five percent. When taken as recommended, retinyl palmitate provides 3,333 – 5,000 IU of vitamin A each day. The majority of vitamin A in this product is from beta carotene.

A. In testing of Nutrivitamin Enzyme Complex™, milk protein has not been detected, so the level is very low. However, because of labeling standards and the severity of some allergies, we cannot say that this product does not contain milk.
