Chromium Picolinate 300 mcg 60 caps
Patient One Chromium Picolinate supplies 300 mcg per capsule of this essential trace mineral. Our formula provides a highly utilizable form of chromium that is bound to picolinic acid, which facilitates absorption.
Chromium plays a role in glucose and lipid metabolism, in part by maintaining healthy enzyme activity. Optimal levels of chromium picolinate promote healthy carbohydrate and fat utilization and may help lessen carbohydrate cravings and support weight management efforts. Chromium may also help promote the maintenance of cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range. Studies suggest chromium picolinate helps maintain already normal glucose levels and insulin sensitivity.
Dietary chromium intake can vary considerably depending on eating habits. Metabolic stress, strenuous exercise, high intake of refined carbohydrates and simple sugars, advanced age and pregnancy can all increase chromium needs.
