Proscenat Keynotes: Prostate infection, acute or latent. Pelvic floor drainage and regulation.

Clinical Indications: Although this remedy is intended for prostatic infection, it can prove useful to direct the drainage properties of other remedies to the pelvic floor area. Proscenat is particularly useful post-vasectomy, or in other surgical procedures such as biopsy or hernia repair. Proscenat is not intended as a stand-alone remedy for benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). However, it is useful as a part of a BPH program if used to target the action of other medicines to the pelvic floor.

Although this remedy is intended for prostatic infection, it can prove useful to direct the drainage properties of other remedies to the pelvic floor area. Proscenat is particularly useful post-vasectomy, or in other surgical procedures such as biopsy or hernia repair.

We do not intend Proscenat as a stand-alone remedy for benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). However, it is useful as a part of a BPH program if used to target the action of other medicines to the pelvic floor. Proscenat is often used prophylactically, along with AsperSAN suppositories, diindolyl methane (DIM), and saw palmetto supplements.

Naturopathy

According to naturopathic medicine,  there are preventative protocols for BPH and prostatic cancer. Namely, by improving the testosterone/estrogen ratio (weight reduction, zinc repletion, liver detoxification), and using natural weak 5-#-reductase inhibitors (saw palmetto). However, consider the use of drainage medicines to decongest the pelvic floor.

Specifically, include  PEKANA and sanPharma medicines, which can make management of prostate conditions much more effective.

A very interesting medical hypothesis links BPH and xenoestrogen exposure. The prostate and the uterus derive embryologically from the same structures. In the male, the vestiges of the uterus persist into adult life as the utricle, which is found in the proximal portion of the prostate.

Xenoestrogens

Under the exposure to xenoestrogens (environmental chemicals that mimic estrogen and interact with estrogen receptors), the utricle will swell and even produce blood, just like a uterus in the proliferative phase. This can create irritation and swelling that is one factor in causation of BPH.

If this hypothesis is true, then treatment of BPH must include overall improvement of liver detoxification, and elimination of xenoestrogens from the body by use of drainage and regulation medicines, along with decreasing environmental exposure in foods, etc.
