The early introduction of vaccines can have beneficial or adverse effects, depending on various factors. These include: the nutritional status of the mother and the child, the adrenal health of the mother during pregnancy, and the level of
sanitation in the child’s environment. We have found most babies who have adverse reactions to vaccines to be deficient in phospholipids, especially phosphatidyl serine, and fatty acids, especially DHA. This, of course, assumes that the mother and child are not in frank protein and calorie malnutrition. Low level starvation, including deficiency of essential trace nutrients such as iron, zinc, and vitamin A, will result in a compromised immune system that reacts unpredictably when given vaccines.
